2.       Letter of congratulations for constituents’ encouragement

MEET SERVICE AGREEMENT REQUIREMENTS

1.       Administrators must complete A.C.E. Administrator’s Training.  Other school personnel must complete the appropriate level of A.C.E. training.  This is to ensure that the school knows how to effectively use the A.C.E. individualized program in their school.
2.       All administrative and Learning Center staff attended most recent A.C.E. Fall Educator’s Convention.
3.       Diagnoses, prescriptions, and cumulative records maintained per the A.C.E. Procedure’s Manual.  Abide by A.C.E.’s grading scale.
4.       Goals and controls utilized per the A.C.E. Procedure’s Manual.
5.       The Learning Center procedures must be followed, including the “Trail of a PACE.”  Students must submit their PACE’s the night before a PACE Test.  Students need to complete a new PACE after any failed PACE.  One of the major philosophies behind the A.C.E. program is to teach the students to learn for tests, not to cram for tests.
6.       Design from the furniture section of the Administrator’s Manual followed for Learning Center furniture and arrangement.  (Minor changes in design are permitted according to available materials.)
7.    The portion of the school recognized for Quality Status must use only A.C.E. curriculum, except for necessary curriculum that A.C.E. does not provide.  For example:  National Geography, National History, and National Civics; Language or other government-imposed requirements not covered by the A.C.E. curriculum.

PLUS THE FOLLOWING:

1.       Must be a school that has completed a minimum of one full year—not Home School.
2.       Students demonstrate consistent academic achievement for the past year (count only students enrolled for the full school year, but exclude students in preschool/kindergarten, and any students with IQs below 70).  a.       Average of 60 or more successfully completed PACE Tests per student for the previous academic year (total tests divided by total number of full-time students).   (If the average is below 60, because of government-imposed requirements not covered by A.C.E. curriculum, the average should be at least 48 PACE’s per student.  The school should request an exception in writing to the Representative of ACE México, and the school should maintain an academic projection/program that shows what subjects are be supplemented to the A.C.E. curriculum in each level.  This projection/program should be made available to the representative of ACE México.) b.       School overall PACE Test score average of at least 88 percent for the previous academic year.
3.       Require monthly Bible memorization, with eight to twenty verses each month, depending on the reading level of the student.
4.       Require memorization of all PACE Bible memory verses.
5.       Include a high quality music and speech program in the weekly schedule for the high school levels during the school year.  Each High School student should complete the Speech and Music PACE courses.
6.       Have a High School graduation requirement of computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.
7.       Maintain a clean, safe facility with a quality appearance.
8.       Conduct an annual parent orientation program with required attendance for all parents.
9.       Have weekly chapel with senior pastor usually present.
10.    Conduct combined daily Opening Exercises with Bible recitation, Congratulation slips, motivation, and love as described in the A.C.E. Procedure’s Manual.
11.    To continue to build godliness into the students, the school must encourage participation in the International Student Convention Bible Memory events:  Golden Apple, Golden Lamb, Golden Harp, and Christian Soldier Awards.  (See the A.C.E. Student Convention Guidelines for details.)  This is a requirement for Quality Status even if the school does not attend the Student Convention.

Quality Status will apply only to that portion of the school using the A.C.E. program.  If the school meets all of the requirements, the school may be recognized by ACE México as having A.C.E. Quality Status.

MEXICAN SCHOOL MODEL STATUS

2.       Letter of congratulations for constituents’ encouragement
3.       Free registrations at the Christian Educators Convention (in Mexico) for the Senior pastor (senior administrator if nonchurch-school) and wife, plus principal and spouse.  Nontransferable.

MEET ALL QUALITY STATUS REQUIREMENTS PLUS:

1.       The school must use only A.C.E. curriculum and A.C.E. approved supportive and elective curriculum in preschool/kinder and levels 1-12, except for necessary curriculum that A.C.E. does not provide.  For example:  National Geography, National History, and National Civics; Language or other government-imposed requirements not covered by the A.C.E. curriculum.  Schools that attain Model Status must reflect a true image of the A.C.E. program.  Many new and prospective A.C.E. educators are sent to observe Model schools for this purpose.
2.       The school must average 65 or more successfully completed PACE Tests per student for the previous academic year.  This is calculated by dividing the total tests by total number of full-time students.   This is more than a full year’s work if a student has five PACE subjects.  (See the requirements for Quality Status for exceptions.)
3.       Require participation in the regional and or international A.C.E. Student Convention (may opt to participate in another student convention program with a similar scope and purpose as approved by the A.C.E. representative) by at least 50 percent of eligible students, if there is Student Convention within 400 miles.  These conventions help the students discover the talents, gifts, and abilities that God has given them.  Many students use these discoveries in ministries as adults.
4.       Follow the A.C.E. Student Convention Guidelines for dress and appearance standards (observed by students and staff in the Learning Center and when appearing in public places representing the school).  Uniforms are highly recommended.
5.       Have a program that actively involves students in local church participation that includes student performances, in church-school; if a nonchurch-school, have a student performance night.
6.       Have regularly scheduled devotional groups for all levels.
7.       As a general rule, Model Schools should have a degreed supervisor in each Learning Center.  The degree may be in any field of study.  Although this may be waived in certain circumstances, it could assist Model Schools in applying for regional accreditations as well as increasing the distinction of your school.  To assist in this, Model schools may participate in the A.C.E. Advantage Program.

The A.C.E. Model School must use A.C.E. curriculum and procedures throughout the school.  If the school can meet all of the requirements of the guide, then the school can be recognized by ACE México as having A.C.E. Model Status.

The recognition as Model School will begin on July the 1st and will continue for one full year—until June 30th.  Annual attainment will result in uninterrupted benefits.  It is necessary to submit an application annually before Decmber 31st.
